Step-by-Step: Installing & Connecting a Wallet

1. Install MetaMask (Ethereum/XDC with custom RPC)
   MetaMask is the most common Ethereum wallet and can be configured to work with XDC by setting up a custom network.
   
   Visit: https://metamask.io
   Click “Download” and install the browser extension (Chrome, Firefox, or Brave).
   
   Create a new wallet (securely back up the seed phrase).
   
   After setup, click the MetaMask extension icon to access your wallet.
2. For XDC Network Support:
   Click the network dropdown (default says Ethereum Mainnet).
   
   Choose “Add Network” and enter the following details:
   • Network Name: XDC Mainnet
   • New RPC URL: https://erpc.xinfin.network
   • Chain ID: 50
   • Currency Symbol: XDC
   • Block Explorer: https://explorer.xinfin.network/
   Save the network.
3. You’re now connected to the XDC blockchain!
